Bytro releases native mobile apps for the popular World War 1 strategy game

Browser game Supremacy 1914 from Bytro is now available for mobile devices and enables cross-platform play for players. Last week’s release marks the second mobile game release on both major mobile platforms after last year’s successful Call of War launch. This turns Supremacy 1914 into the second genuine MMO grand strategy game available for mobile players on smartphones and tablets.

Online games developer Bytro is consistently following their strategy to create the most advanced cross-platform strategy games around the world. The mobile apps of Supremacy 1914 mark another important milestone in the company’s history as it’s the second step towards a completely new version of Supremacy 1914. The first step was a major graphic and engine update end of last year.

In Supremacy 1914, you become head of a mighty nation in precarious Europe after the turn of the century. You face the challenge to become the undisputed sovereign leader of the whole continent using smart diplomacy or simply the brute force of your glorious armies. Strategists can play private rounds with friends or against competitors from all around the world, completely free of charge. Already more than 4.5 million players have registered for this strategy game by Bytro. Supremacy 1914 won the Audience-Award in the Browser Game of the Year-election.

Veteran grand strategy players will see their strategic skills be put to use on the battlefields in this huge World War I game, battling with economy, armies and the ever growing threat presented by opponents. Today’s release marks the first of three milestones for the new version Supremacy 1914 – The Great War in 2019. This first update features a completely reworked community area, a beautiful new map look and an exciting new 3D rendering technology!

In the next step Bytro is further embracing its cross-platform strategy, which has already shown outstanding success for Call of War. Call Of War: Cross-Platform War Will Break Out March 20th

Bytro releases native mobile apps for the popular multi-platform strategy game

Hamburg, March 15th 2018 | The Hamburg-based developer Bytro is proving that there is still room for innovation in the competitive mobile gaming market with their new mobile apps for the successful PC game Call Of War, which will be available worldwide in eleven languages on March 20th. Set in World War II, Call of War is the first genuine MMO grand strategy game that is available on smartphones and tablets.

Players take control of one of the major nations in the war and dive into some of the most thrilling battles of the largest conflict in history along with up to 100 real opponents. In order to win, they will have to conquer entire regions, forge alliances, grow their economy and research the secret weapon projects of World War II. It’s up to players to decide how they want to achieve their goals. Do you try to make allies or do you ruthlessly push your own interests? Do you develop advanced weapons or do you grind down your enemies in a slow but effective war of attrition. The game is played in real time and matches can last several weeks.

What makes Call Of War special, besides its challenging gameplay and authentic setting, is its consistent approach to cross-platform play.

“Our players, a total of three million across all versions of the game, are free to choose whichever platform they like best. They can play from their browser, on Steam or through the iOS and Android apps, all with a single account. We are especially proud of that”, says Tobias Kringe, managing director of Bytro.

Thanks to its HTML5 framework, no plugins are needed to play the game from your browser.

Alongside this sophisticated technical implementation, Call Of War aims for maximal user comfort and exciting battles in a historically accurate scenario.
