As a Senior UI Artist (f/m/x) you are supporting Bytro’s Art team in all areas of UI asset production. Use your design skills and UX knowledge to create interfaces that enhance the gaming experience for millions of players.

Your tasks:
  • Create attractive, cross-platform UI designs for multiple game titles, from concept to implementation
  • Produce wireframe, mockup and user-flow iterations
  • Optimise existing styles while maintaining their consistency
  • Visualise complex information and game design requirements in a user-friendly manner
  • Work together with the Art Lead to develop and maintain asset libraries and guidelines
  • Provide feedback and guidance to developers regarding UI implementation
Your skills:
  • You bring a minimum 4 years of experience as a UI Artist in the gaming industry or a comparable position
  • You have a solid understanding of visual design and UX principles along with a portfolio demonstrating your skills
  • You are proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe XD
  • You are able to learn fast and adapt to the needs of your team
  • You have strong communication skills in English and you are comfortable working with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds as well as remote teams

As a Senior Frontend Developer Javascript / HTML 5 (f/m/x) you are part of an interdisciplinary team and are responsible for the further development of our x-platform HTML5 strategy game engine.

We are looking for an expert in building HTML5 / CSS3 based user interfaces for desktop and mobile target platforms. For someone who can contribute to keeping our JS engine at the cutting edge of what is possible using “web” technologies.

Your tasks:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our software with high quality, maintainable code
  • Contribute to engine development with your experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Help building us the next generation of HTML5 games by pushing WebGL to its limits
  • Work closely with game design to implement new features and be interested in learning the involved full-stack technologies
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Independent and productive communicate with your Team Lead, colleagues and other teams to ensure a smooth daily workflow

Your skills:

  • B.Sc. /M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with a strong background in JavaScript and very good knowledge of front-end/web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Experience with building state-of-the-art user interfaces web applications or games
  • Very good analytical skills and the motivation to constantly improve and learn
  • Enjoying interdisciplinary teamwork, thinking outside the box, and constantly learning new things
  • Familiarity with agile software development and scrum-based working environments or the wish to work with them
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

We are looking for an experienced and passionate 3D Developer (f/m/x) to support the team implementing scalable 3D graphics technology for our cross-platform HTML5 strategy games.

Your tasks:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our software with high quality, maintainable code
  • Contribute to our rendering engine development with high-performance cross-platform code
  • Undertake performance profiling and optimization
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Independent and productive communication with your team lead, colleagues and other teams to ensure a smooth daily workflow

Your skills:

  • B.Sc. /M.Sc. degree in computer science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years 3D engine development experience with a strong background in OpenGL, or other 3D APIs
  • Advanced knowledge in GPU programming
  • Solid debugging and optimization skills
  • Solid understanding of the graphics pipeline
  • Ideally experience with WebGL/WebGPU and JavaScript
  • Very good analytical skills and the motivation to constantly improve and learn
  • Enjoying interdisciplinary teamwork, thinking outside the box and constantly learning new things
  • Familiarity with agile software development and scrum-based working environments or the wish to work with them
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
